Christy Calcagno is the weekend evening anchor and morning reporter at WTVC News Channel 9 in Chattanooga, TN. She joined the station in July 2021.

Before joining the WTVC-TV news team, Christy was the weekend morning anchor and reporter with WCYB in Bristol, TN.

Christy enjoys covering public safety, breaking news and stories that give voices to those who may not otherwise be heard.
 
Her role at News Channel 9 includes anchoring, producing, reporting and managing digital for the weekend evening show. During the week you can find her telling stories on Good Morning Chattanooga. Christy also uses social media as a tool to enhance her skills and reporting techniques.
 
Christy graduated from Ithaca College in 2018 with a Broadcast Journalism degree from the Roy H. Park School of Communications.

Born and raised in New York, Christy is passionate about news reporting and the ethical principles surrounding the media today. She enjoys working alongside fellow journalists in an atmosphere that allows her to utilize and enhance her skills.
